3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (neck) was sent to see doctors on Monday, Betsy Helfand of the Pioneer Press reported. Manager Rocco Baldelli said Cruz has been suffering from chest and cold-like symptoms for a few weeks and has developed neck stiffness because of violent coughing. Cruz is still considered day-to-day and has been hitting the ball very well this season, so fantasy managers should be on the lookout for him to return soon. Miguel Sano pencils in at DH on Monday against Chicago White Sox right-handed pitcher Dylan Cease. Sano is hitting .197/.290/.504 with 11 home runs and 25 RBI against right-handed pitching this season.--Chelena Goldman
