7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz powered his sixth home run of the season in the 6-3 Mariners win Tuesday night. Heading into Wednesday's action, Cruz now has driven in seven runs over his last six games with two home runs. He is 9-for-26 (.346) during that span and is quickly making up for lost time after a disabled list stint early in the season took away a week of plate appearances. Cruz is still a premiere run producer and the Mariners lineup is off to a fantastic start. With Dee Gordon and Jean Segura setting the table and Mitch Haniger providing thump hitting behind Cruz, there should be plenty more RBI opportunities coming in the near future.--Joey C - RotoBaller
