2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes (groin) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday. He is then scheduled to throw a live session in Tampa Bay on Saturday. If all goes well, he could be activated off of the injured list and return to the starting rotation sometime next week. Cortes has made 23 starts for the Yankees this season, posting a 9-4 record, 2.68 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 133 strikeouts over 131 innings of work.--Matt T - RotoBaller
