4 years agoThe NFL is planning to expand the regular season and add a 17th game to the schedule in 2021. The move would limit the preseason to two or three games, though each team would still get one bye week throughout the entire season. The league had been floating the idea for some time- though a loss in revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic likely accelerated the discussions on this venture. While it's exciting news for the NFL, it could also be exciting for fantasy players, as the playoff weeks may need to be restructured if an extra week is ultimately added.
