7 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nicholas Castellanos is back in the lineup Friday after missing Wednesday's game with knee inflammation. Castellanos was experiencing some swelling after taking a pitch to the knee in Tuesday's game. He also had some hamstring discomfort that was unrelated to the knee issues. Manager Ron Gardenhire decided to play it safe and give Castellanos the day off Wednesday, and the Tigers were off Thursday, so he should be fresh and ready to keep raking against Seattle.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
