5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed collected two more hits in Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies, his third straight multi-hit game and his fifth in the past eight outings. Ahmed has hit safely in six in a row, going 12-for-25 (.480) with a double, a home run and two RBI to raise his batting average from .249 to .278 just since May 21. The work has been nice for the batting average category, but he doesn't hit for more power and rarely shows off any speed. He remains useful more so in NL-only fantasy leagues than mixed play.--Daniel Dobish
