3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks infielder Nick Ahmed went 2-for-5 with a triple, two RBI, and a run scored during Friday's 6-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners. He lined a two-run single into left field to tie the game 5-5. The 31-year-old is starting to heat up and has logged multi-hit efforts each in three of his last five games. He is slashing .224/.284/.338 with four home runs, 37 RBI, 44 runs scored, and seven stolen bases over 439 plate appearances in 2021. Ahmed is worth a speculative add in deep-league formats after hitting .281 (9-for-32) with a homer and eight RBI over his last eight games.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
