3 years agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Nick Boyle (knee) will go on short-term injured reserve, according to head coach John Harbaugh. This means Boyle will be held out of action for a minimum of three weeks and can return in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos. Boyle is more of a blocking tight end, so the Baltimore rushing attack will be better off with him in the lineup. The 28-year-old doesn't have a significant role in the passing game, but he can act as a big red zone target for quarterback Lamar Jackson. Still, he doesn't offer enough consistency to be a viable fantasy option at tight end. He can be disregarded in all formats and league sizes.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
