6 years agoNew England Patriots running back Nick Brossette once again led the way in the preseason, carrying the ball 20 times for 63 yards and one touchdown. Brossette also added 18 receiving yards on four catches in the final preseason game of the season. Brossette is battling for a spot in a crowded backfield but has done a solid job throughout camp. He had led the Patriots with 65 carries for 200 yards and three touchdowns. The rookie averaged only 3.1 yards per carry but has scored in three of the team's four preseason games.
