Nick Castellanos Hits 29th Homer
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos went 1-for-5 with a solo homer in a 6-5 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. Castellanos squared up a ninth-inning offering from Pittsburgh reliever Chris Stratton to bring the Reds within one run of tying the game. Unfortunately for the Reds, Stratton was able to get the next batter, Joey Votto, on a strikeout to end the game. Castellanos is wrapping up a career year, hitting .314 with 29 homers, 84 runs, 82 RBI, and two steals over 472 at-bats. He remains an everyday starter in fantasy leagues.
