3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in a 7-5 loss to the San Diego Padres on Wednesday. Castellanos went deep off of San Diego starter Joe Musgrove in the first inning as part of a four-run frame in the loss, which was called with one out in the sixth inning due to rain. The veteran outfielder's impressive season continues, with him now slashing .346/.396/.607 with 16 homers, 53 runs, 53 RBI, and two steals. Castellanos should continue to rack up the counting stats hitting in the middle of what has been an explosive Cincinnati lineup in 2021.--Matt T - RotoBaller
