Nick Castellanos Picks Up Two Hits; Scores Once
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run in a 5-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Castellanos came around to score on Eugenio Suarez's 10th-inning double as part of a four-run inning. The veteran outfielder is hitting .310 with nine homers, 25 runs, 22 RBI, and one steal in 126 at-bats. Castellanos is unlikely to slow down anytime soon, as he is in the top 20th percentile in the league in hard-hit rate, expected batting average, expected slugging percentage, and expected weighted on-base average. He should continue to rack up quality numbers hitting in the middle of a solid Cincy lineup.
