Nick Castellanos Remains Sidelined Wednesday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos (toe) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Castellanos is dealing with a case of turf toe and will miss his second straight game. With a scheduled day off on Thursday, there's a chance that he'll be back in the lineup for the start of a series against the San Francisco Giants on Friday. Fantasy managers are hoping he can return soon, as he's gone 30-for-100 (.300) with five home runs, 12 RBI and 13 runs scored in 26 games in August. Matt Vierling will get another start in right field and hit seventh on Wednesday against Diamondbacks left-hander Tommy Henry. On the season, Vierling has a .232 average (56-for-241) with five long balls, 20 RBI, 32 runs scored and six stolen bases for the Phils.
