Nick Chubb, Demetric Felton Ruled Out

2 years agoCleveland Browns running backs Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton remain on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and have been ruled out for Week 10 against the New England Patriots. The Browns were holding out hope that Chubb would be able to play this Sunday, but he wasn't able to deliver two negative tests 24 hours apart. With both Chubb and Felton out and Kareem Hunt (calf) still on Injured Reserve, D'Ernest Johnson will serve as the team's lead running back against the Patriots. John Kelly is also on the COVID-19 list, so the Browns will likely call up recently signed running back Brian Hill to the active roster to back Johnson up on Sunday. With the big volume increase this weekend, Johnson will be in the RB2 picture for Week 10.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
