3 years agoNew England Patriots kicker Nick Folk has made a team-record 33 consecutive field-goal attempts. He was brought in to replace kicker Quinn Nordin (abdominal), who has been placed on the Injured Reserve. They recently signed Folk, which means he'll likely be the kicker going forward. He has been reliable through the first two weeks, so there is no reason not to trust him. However, the Saints and Patriots defense have allowed 14.5 points per game this season. It sounds like there won't be a lot of extra-point attempts for Folk in Week 3. The Patriots offense should be able to do enough damage to New Orleans in order to get into field-goal range.
