3 years agoNew England Patriots kicker Nick Folk is a top candidate to receive a promotion to the 53-man roster this weekend. New England placed rookie Quinn Nordin (abdomen) on injured reserve and is now left without a kicker. Folk, who was active in Week 1 while Nordin's debut was put on hold, is currently on the practice squad and seems like the favorite for a promotion. He made all four kicks (three field goals and one extra point) last week. In 2020, the Arizona product went 26-for-28 on field goals and 30-for-33 on extra points.
