7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Nick Franklin has been added to the 40-man roster from Double-A Biloxi and will play second base on Tuesday against the Cleveland Indians. A 40-man roster spot opened after it was announced that catcher Stephen Vogt could potentially have season-ending surgery on his shoulder and was added to the 60-day disabled list, along with Eric Sogard being optioned to Triple-A. If Franklin can jump off to a hot start, he may take the second base spot, as everyone who can play second so far has struggled. He should not be owned right now but could hold some deep league value if he can get off to a hot start.--Caden Inaba
