4 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder Nick Gordon went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in his big-league debut Thursday. Gordon walked in his first at-bat, stole second base, then singled in his next at-bat, stealing second on an Andrelton Simmons strikeout. The 25-year-old flashed some base-stealing potential in the minors, though it was great to see him being so aggressive on the basepaths in his first taste of big-league action. Gordon is likely to get his fair share of opportunities over the next week with Luis Arraez, Alex Kirilloff, and Byron Buxton banged up.--Tim Capurso
