4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Nick Heath has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a hamstring injury with right-handed pitcher Chance Adams having been recalled to take his roster spot. Heath had started each of the past two contests in center field and swiped two bases, a continuation of the impressive stolen base numbers that he produced in the Minors. While Heath had just a .732 OPS in 105 games between Double-A and Triple-A last season, he compiled 60 steals, leading to 72 runs scored. Upon his return from the IL, owners desperate for stolen bases can give Heath a look should he regain full-time playing duties.--Jesse Borek
