5 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Nick Hundley (back, knee) was able to catch a bullpen session on Thursday morning. It was the first time he was able to do so since hitting the 10-day injured list after dealing with backs spasms and a minor cleanup procedure in his knee. Hundley said the session went well and he feels he'll be able to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment within the next 10 days. Hundley will return to find Josh Phegley and Chris Herrmann behind the dish in Oakland, so it might be getting pretty crowded. The A's are likely to deal one of the backstops at the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.--Daniel Dobish
