Nick Madrigal Gets Day Off
4 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal will get a day of rest on Monday versus the Cleveland Indians. Madrigal has one hit in four straight games and has a one hit in seven of eighth games this year. Madrigal hit .340 in his debut campaign last season and has continued to make contact this season. Madrigal is a great contact hitter, but doesn't offer fantasy managers much outside of batting average. The second baseman should be expected to be back in the lineup on Tuesday in a tough battle against Shane Bieber. Utility man Leury Garcia will replace Madrigal in the lineup and bat eighth. Garcia has struggled this season and can be avoided in DFS on Monday.
