Nick Madrigal To Be Re-Evaluated
2 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Nick Madrigal (groin) was forced to exit early during Sunday's rehab game. The young infielder will be re-evaluated after experiencing tightness in his groin. He has been sidelined since mid-June due to a left groin strain. The 25-year-old is hopeful to rejoin the Cubs roster at some point during the second half of the season. Madrigal was hitting .222/.263/.250 with no home runs, and two RBI before landing on the injured list.
