Nick Margevicius Struggles Thursday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Nick Margevicius has possibly made his final appearance of the spring, and if he did, he saved the worst for last. Margevicius threw 3 2/3 innings against Oakland, and allowed four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four. He also gave up his first two home runs of the spring. Margevicius is locked in a battle with Justin Dunn for the final starting spot in Seattle's rotation, and this outing certainly did little to help his case. Even if he were to win the job, Margevicius will begin the year as no more than a fantasy streaming option with limited strikeout potential.
