5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis was 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI during a 13-7 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. The veteran outfielder has had an up-and-down season at the plate, as he only had 11 RBI in his previous 36 games before this contest. Markakis owns a .276/.365/.425 slash line on the season to go along with five home runs and 33 RBI. It is unlikely that Markakis reaches the lofty offensive numbers he put up a season ago, but he is still worthy of a roster spot in most mixed formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
