5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis is slashing .292/.340/.354 since his return to the lineup on September 13. The lack of power shouldn't concern fantasy owners, as Markakis never displayed much power to begin with. But the veteran brings a professional at-bat who can work a count. His fantasy value will be tied to his ability to get on base and Markakis produced a solid .271 batting average this season with two outs. He will be a fringe, low-end option in fantasy for the playoffs.--Joey C - RotoBaller
