6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens benefited from a blowout loss in Week 13, passing for 414 yards and two late scores. Mullens and the Niners square off against the Denver Broncos in Week 14, whose defense has allowed fewer than 20 points in three of their last four contests. The Broncos have ridden their ferocious pass rush and second-ranked defense to 37 sacks and 261 pass yards allowed per game. Mullens gets deep threat wideout Marquise Goodwin back this week but he hasn’t played well since his stellar Week 9 debut and repeatedly struggles under duress.
