3 years agoQuarterback Nick Mullens has agreed to a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, per Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. Mullens is set to battle Garrett Gilbert for backup duties behind Derek Carr, who threw for a career-best 4,804 yards last season. Mullens, an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss, spent last season with the Browns, where he made one start, his only appearance of the year. Previously, he spent three seasons with San Francisco, where he combined to throw for 4,714 yards and 25 touchdowns (with 22 interceptions) across 19 games (16 starts). Carr is the unquestioned QB1 for Vegas, although Mullens has proven adept at having DFS value on the occasions in which he steps in.--Jesse Borek
