6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens finished 30-for-48 with 414 yards and two touchdowns in Week 13’s blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Mullens also had an interception late in garbage time that Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner took to the house. The Niners were behind 20-3 by halftime which resulted in Mullens hitting a career high in pass attempts. Both his touchdowns went to talented rookie wideout Dante Pettis. The stats look great for Mullens but the Niners were thoroughly outmatched all game. Mullens performance likely gives him another starting shot in Week 14 but he’s only a backend QB2 option at risk of an in-game benching.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
