6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens completed 20 of 33 passes for 332 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Mullens found tight end George Kittle for a wide open 85-yard touchdown in the second quarter and followed up with a one-yard floater to receiver Dante Pettis to conclude the half. It was an impressive bounce-back game for Mullens and the Niners offense after struggling for three straight contests. Mullens’ performance probably earned him a longer leash as the team’s starter, possibly through the rest of the season. He’ll still just be a middling QB2 in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
