3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Nick Mullens completed 20 of 30 passes for 147 yards and one touchdown in a 16-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15. Mullens played about as well as can be expected considering he was just elevated from the practice squad earlier in the week and was without several offensive starters including Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper. Despite all that, Mullens had his team in position to win after a six-yard touchdown pass to Harrison Bryant with 3:45 left in the game had Cleveland clinging to a one-point lead. The Browns will almost certainly get Baker Mayfield back from the reserve/COVID-19 list for their Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day but Mullens made a case to be considered as the QB2 in Cleveland next season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
