3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nick Pivetta followed up his no-hit bid in his last start with a much less successful outing Tuesday, allowing six runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five. Three of his nine hits allowed were home runs. Pivetta was fortunate that the offense came through, and he was awarded a no-decision in the 7-6 victory. Pivetta now has a 4.43 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 99 strikeouts in 85 1/3 innings this year. He's a streaming option for fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
