Nick Pivetta Lasts Four Innings Wednesday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nick Pivetta only managed to last four innings against the Minnesota Twins Wednesday, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out five batters and yielded two home runs. That makes back-to-back tough starts for Pivetta, who didn't make it out of the second inning in his previous time out. With 130 innings on the year, he may be hitting a bit of a wall after only throwing a total of 109 1/3 over the last two seasons combined. Fantasy managers should exercise caution in the weeks ahead.
