3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nick Pivetta returned from the COVID list to make the start against the Chicago White Sox Sunday, and he was very effective in 5 1/3 innings of work. Pivetta allowed one unearned run on three hits and no walks while striking out five. This outing breaks a streak of three starts with exactly four earned runs allowed in each. With a 4.49 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 156 strikeouts in 140 1/3 innings, Pivetta is worth a streaming play in good matchups but nothing more.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
