3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nick Pivetta was able to go the distance against the Houston Astros on Wednesday. He gave up a leadoff home run to Jose Altuve, but Pivetta settled in after that. Pivetta went nine innings, allowing two hits, one earned run, and struck out eight in the victory. This marks his second career complete game and a much needed outing to give the Boston bullpen a rest day. Pivetta has surprisingly been solid over his last three starts. Fantasy managers might actually be able to trust him as a streaming option for his next start.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
