Nick Pratto Homers Three Times At Double-A

3 years agoKansas City Royals first base prospect Nick Pratto had an eye-opening game on Friday when he slugged three home runs and drove in six runs. He went 4-for-5 and also scored four times. Pratto had a strong spring training with the Royals but then had just two hits in his first six games of the minor league season. Thanks to improved results in the second half of May, he now has a 184 wRC+ through 14 games. After hitting just nine home runs in 124 games in High-A ball in 2019, Pratto already has five homers less than one month into the 2021 season. The former first-round pick seems to have made significant strides since spending all of 2020 at the club's alternate training site and deserves dynasty consideration moving forward.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
