5 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel (shoulder) is close to making his spring debut after undergoing right shoulder surgery back in September. Senzel is expected to be in the lineup as the team's designated hitter for a Thursday game against the Milwaukee Brewers. While Senzel's return to the lineup is encouraging, there is some question as to whether he will have enough time to get ready for Opening Day. Senzel is optimistic, telling reporters, "I have a good feeling that I should be ready to go for Opening Day.” Senzel hit .256 with 12 homers and 42 RBI in 104 games last season and has some fantasy appeal as a post-hype sleeper.--Matt T - RotoBaller
