3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel (knee) was placed back on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with fluid on his knee, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Senzel had just been activated from the injured list on Sunday and was optioned to Triple-A, but after several examinations from doctors this week, it was determined he had a buildup of fluid in his knee resulting from the arthroscopic surgery that had kept him sidelined since mid-May. Nightengale reports that Senzel had attempted to play through the pain over the past few days at Triple-A, but he was unable to keep it up. Senzel is slashing .252/.323/.315 with one homer, two steals, eight RBI and 18 runs scored over 36 games this year, and at this point managers in redraft formats can safely drop him to the waiver wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
