3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel (knee) will undergo knee surgery on Friday, but a timetable for his return will not be known until after the procedure is completed, according to C. Trent Rosencrans of The Athletic. Senzel was placed on the injured list with knee inflammation last week, and now manager David Bell describes the surgery as a "clean up" procedure. Bell also says that the team expects Senzel to return, "with a big part of the season remaining." Senzel really hasn't done much in fantasy this year as he's slashing .252/.323/.315 with one home run, two steals, eight RBI and 18 runs scored. If you have empty IL slots on your roster, you can try hanging onto him for now, but in the meantime Tyler Naquin will continue to get the bulk of playing time in center field.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
