6 years agoCincinnati Reds top prospect Nick Senzel has been on a hot streak at Triple-A Louisville, which has caused the cries for him to be promoted to grow louder. Reds general manager Nick Krall told reporters, "We just want to make sure he has a place to play. He's been progressing well, and he's making good contact. We feel he's played well in Triple-A, especially since he's come back from the injury the past two weeks." Senzel has been red-hot at the plate since being activated from the disabled list on May 29, slashing .339/.412/.458 with seven doubles and 11 RBI in 15 games. The All-Star-quality seasons being turned in by current Reds Scooter Gennett and Eugenio Suarez, who play the positions Senzel is being groomed to play, makes it hard to find a spot for him on the big league roster. Senzel is ready to handle big league pitching at this point of his career but he's going to have to wait until later in the season for his call to the majors. He remains a strong hold in dynasty leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
