7 years agoOne day after hiring Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich to be their next head coach, the Indianapolis Colts have hired Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver coach Nick Sirianni to be the team's offensive coordinator, per NFL Reporter Field Yates. While Sirianni doesn't carry much name value, he has plenty of experience in the NFL as the Los Angeles Chargers quality control coach, quarterbacks coach, and wide receiver coach over the span of five years. It is uncertain how his coaching mindset will transfer to play-calling and offensive scheming, but fantasy owners should be optimistic in noting that Sirianni was a big part of Tyrell Williams' breakout 1,059 receiving yard season in 2016.--TMax-12
