3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner (ankle) was forced to exit early during Wednesday's game against the San Diego Padres. He left the game due to right ankle soreness after colliding with the second base umpire. The hope is that Hoener can avoid a trip to the injured list, but the team will do further testing before making that decision. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day right now.
