3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner (oblique) will be reassessed when he resumes baseball activities later this week, according to Patrick Mooney of The Athletic. Hoerner exited a rehab game on Sunday with High-A South Bend as a precaution after he experienced tension in his oblique during an at-bat. He's been out since the end of July with a right oblique strain after slashing .319/.388/.388 with three steals, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored over 39 games this season.
