3 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov (lower body) appears to have picked up another long-term injury. The 2019 league MVP got hurt in Saturday's 2-1 overtime victory at Washington and Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said on Monday that it's "not a day-to-day thing". Erik Erlendsson of Lightning Insider had reported that Kucherov might require surgery. The defending champions will be back in action on Tuesday against Florida, with Corey Perry set to take Kucherov's spot on the first line.
