6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov registered two goals with an assist in Sunday's 5-2 road victory against the Florida Panthers. That includes a power-play assist on Brayden Point's marker on the man advantage early in the third period, and a power-play goal with :48 left in regulation to put a bow on the game's scoring. The diminutive Russian forward registered his first multi-point game in seven outings dating back to Jan. 19 before the All-Star break. There's something about facing the Panthers that brings out his best, as he has three consecutive three-point outings against the Sunshine State rivals, totaling four goals and five assists.--Daniel Dobish
