6 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Niko Goodrum (quadriceps) left the game early on Wednesday after suffering a quadriceps contusion after colliding with outfielder Christin Stewart. Goodrum struck out in his only plate appearance before getting injured. He's batting only .236/.310/.431 on the season but does have 16 home runs, 52 runs scored, 45 RBI and 12 stolen bases on the year. His position versatility might be the most attractive to fantasy owners in deep mixed and AL-only formats. Consider Goodrum day-to-day for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
