3 years agoDetroit Tigers utility infielder Niko Goodrum (calf) is "on track" to finish his rehab assignment this weekend and be activated this Tuesday, Chris McCosky of the Detroit News reported on Friday. Goodrum was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to July 15 with a left calf strain and has been slowly making his way back into the lineup. The 29-year-old switch-hitter has been solid when healthy, slashing .220/.296/.341 with six home runs, 18 RBI, and 12 stolen bases. However, a mix of significant time only hitting off the bench and now time missed due to injury doesn't make him a good fantasy option.--Chelena Goldman
