Niko Goodrum To Miss "A Few Weeks" With Groin Strain
3 years agoDetroit Tigers utility player Niko Goodrum (groin) is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a left groin strain, according to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press. Goodrum exited Wednesday's game after suffering the groin strain while running out a double, and was placed on the injured list as a result of the injury. This comes shortly after his return from a calf injury that had landed him on the IL, and now it's possible he won't be able to return until mid-September. Managers should stash him on the IL for now, and keep an eye out for further updates on his condition going forward.
