4 years agoCarolina Hurricanes winger Nino Niederreiter posted the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Detroit. Dougie Hamilton started the scoring for Carolina with a short-handed goal. Niederreiter is hot in front of the goal right now, having scored in three of his last five appearances. The Swiss winger has already scored more goals (12) than he did during the whole of 2019-20 (11), so he can count his season a success already. Niederreiter will look to add to his 12 goals and 18 points in Tuesday's rematch with Detroit, before entering a four-game set against Columbus.
