4 years agoThe New York Mets have yet to provide a timeline for infielder Jeff McNeil's (hamstring) return from the 10-day injured list. Similar to outfielder Michael Conforto, McNeil suffered the injury on May 16 in a game against the Rays. To date, the Mets have also failed to provide any information on the grade or severity of McNeil's hamstring strain. McNeil is slashing .242/.336/.374 with three homers and eight RBI in 31 games. Much like Conforto, the fact that the Mets have been unwilling to provide any status on the severity of McNeil's injury gives cause for concern that it could be a long absence for him. Fantasy managers should continue to hold McNeil until more information is provided by the Mets regarding the severity of the injury.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
