No Injury Designation For Antonio Gibson
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (hip) put in a full practice on Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 18 regular season finale against the New York Giants. Gibson missed the Week 17 game due to COVID-19, so it's possible that he doesn't see his usual large workload in a meaningless game to close out the season. Rookie Jaret Patterson stepped up in Gibson's absence last week, too, going for 57 yards and a touchdown on a season-high 12 carries while also adding five catches for 41 yards. However, Gibson is also 109 yards away from the 1,000-yard mark on the year, so Washington could ride him hard if he's 100%. The uncertainty drops him in the rankings to more of an RB2 for the finale.
